British tennis player Laura Robson has been announced as the newest supporter of Girlguiding, and has been named the Big Brownie Birthday Champion in celebration of the 100th birthday of the Brownies, the Girlguiding section for seven to 10 year olds.

Robson, who's set to carry out birthday challenges alongside the Brownies, commented 'It's so important for girls to have the chance to develop a sense of adventure while they’re growing up, to raise their aspirations and to understand just what an amazing, positive impact they have the potential to make'.
